About Sikorski MFG

Built on the shop floor.

We're engineers who came up through manufacturing — not consultants who studied it. That difference shows in every project we take on.

Brian Sikorski

Founder & Principal Engineer

Brian brings deep hands-on experience in SolidWorks product design and injection mold engineering. His background spans consumer products, industrial equipment, and medical devices — with a consistent focus on designs that are ready for tooling from day one. He founded Sikorski MFG to give product companies direct access to senior-level engineering without the overhead of a large firm.

Our story

Engineering that starts with how things get made.

Sikorski MFG was founded on a simple conviction: the best product engineers are the ones who understand manufacturing from the inside out. Too many products are designed in isolation from the tooling and processes that will produce them — and the result is expensive revisions, delayed launches, and parts that never quite perform as intended.

We built this firm to close that gap. Our work sits at the intersection of SolidWorks product design and injection mold engineering — which means we're thinking about gate locations, draft angles, and cooling circuits at the same time we're modeling geometry. The result is designs that are ready for tooling, not just ready for review.

Based in the Northeast US, we work with product companies, OEMs, and startups across a wide range of industries — from consumer products to industrial equipment. Every engagement is hands-on, technically rigorous, and built around your timeline.

How we work

01

01

Manufacturing-first thinking

Every design decision is evaluated against real-world manufacturing constraints. We don't design parts and then figure out how to mold them — we design them to be molded from the start.

02

02

Technical honesty

If a design has a problem, we say so early — before steel is cut. Our DFM process exists to surface issues when they're cheap to fix, not after tooling is underway.

03

03

Hands-on engagement

We stay involved through tooling build, first articles, and production ramp. When something comes up at the press, we're the engineering resource that knows the design.

04

04

Northeast presence

We work with clients across the Northeast US and maintain close relationships with regional toolmakers and molders — which means faster turnarounds and better coordination.
